KISS Regional and EMS Boot Camps
We offer Stroke Bootcamp Educational offerings to any Hospital or EMS Agency in the State of Kansas. These 3 hour Bootcamps include information about the KISS background, stroke evaluation and treatment, regional routing, and stroke case studies. These bootcamps are free in cost and offer contact hours for Physicians/Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, and EMT/Paramedics. Past Bootcamp Events
We had our first KISS regional bootcamp in Liberal, KS (EMS Region II) on May 4, 2016. It was hosted by Dr. Lechtenberg and Janice Sandt from The University of Kansas Hospital, and Wendy Dusenbery from Ascension Via Christi Wichita. It was attended by medical partners from across Region 2.
The Region 5 bootcamp touched hospitals and EMS across the NE section of Kansas. Our partners from Stormont Vail Healthcare presented the content and did a great job of continuing our first year launch of KISS bootcamps.
Community Outreach
