How KISS Works
KISS is organized around a four-prong approach to improving the care of patients experiencing acute stroke across Kansas.
The KISS Approach to Acute Stroke Care
EMS Partnerships

Hospital Education and Support
Provide education and support to any hospital seeking assistance in the evaluation and treatment of stroke.
Statewide Stroke Center Network
Assist with the transport, evaluation, and treatment of patients through a coordinated network of Primary and Comprehensive Stroke Centers.
Public Awareness
Improve public awareness and recognition of stroke symptoms to increase opportunities for timely treatment.
